My great grandmother was Stana Prlja, she was born in 1900 in Ljubotinj, Montenegro and died in 1973 in Bar, Montenegro. She married Dusan Radoman in Canada and her 3 sons were born in Canada. She returned to Yugoslavia in 1930 with her sons. He parents were Marko Prlja and Ike Knezevic, probably from Ljubotinj.
I have found records of her allegedly going to the USA, specifically Silver Bow/Butte, Montana and I think one record from Minnesota but I am not sure if it is really her. I have also found records for her husband, Dusan, in Silver Bow/Butte, Montana. Although, I think the birth years are off. Coincidence? I don't know... I don't know if she has any siblings, but I found a grave for Philip (Filip) Prlja in Silver Bow/Butte, Montana and on the headstone it says his sisters name was Stana and that he was from Ljubotinj.
Does anyone have any information regarding the Prlja family?
