I am trying to solve a puzzle from 1960.If anyone can help me I would be eternally grateful.
I am looking for a light-skinned(he looked white but was a black man) african-american who worked for the d.c. post office in 1960.My husband is his relative. We just found this out.All the info my mother-in-law gave me is sketchy. Curtis' mom says she thinks his name was Jerry. He worked with James Brooks at the d.c. post office. She could not give me his last name.I think he is a part of the mulatto community from Maryland.I live in San Diego so I am limited by distance. If he is still alive he would be in his 80s or 90s.
I really need a miracle to solve this.A lot of the workers from the post office have died.So I really need the public to help me.In 1960 Jerry had a family already.
My husband has been very successful eventhough he never knew his bio dad.If his name is in fact Jerry, he saw my husband once when he was 3 years old but Curtis' mom never told him the truth. It is very complicated, I know.Thanks.
