Hi, sorry but the census years of 1680 & 1715 are all I have.
But a will of 1772 For Sarah Proverbs names Grandchildren Grace, Ambroes, Sarah & William Proverbs. Another will for John Proverbs of 1759 names sons John, Joseph and daughters Margaret & Sarah.
Proverbs connections in New England are mentioned in 2 wills Thomas Proverbs in 1688 and his mother Susannah Cooke (her first husband John Proverbs had died and she re-married)name their respective brother and son William Blackwell of Boston.
Thomas' will mentions his brothers children, the reputed son and daughter of William Blackwell.
Susannahs' will mentions sons William Proverbs and William Blackwell and daughter Mary Blackwell and son Thomas Proverb and daughter Susannah Cooke.
So maybe you should look into William Blackwell of Boston.(around 1670)
