ALBERTHA A. (PROVOST) ST. PIERRE, 87, of Baxter Street, a homemaker, died yesterday at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence.
She was the wife of the late Joseph St. Pierre. Born in Belle Chasse, Province of Quebec, a daughter of the late Omer and Angeline (Marceau) Provost, she had lived in Pawtucket since 1947, previously living in New Hampshire.
Mrs. St. Pierre was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, and a member of the Third Order of Mary of St. Cecilia Church.
She leaves a son, Roger St. Pierre of Johnston; a daughter, Therese Kiley of Cumberland; a brother, Arthur Provost of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a sister, Blandine Paquette of Sherbrooke, in Canada; and 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Suzanne St. Pierre.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 in Sacred Heart Church, Park Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
