Morgan Puckett and Susan Whitaker Death Info

My best guess is that, at the times of their deaths, Morgan Puckett and Susan Whitaker Puckett were living at the home of one of their adult children, likely my 2nd great grandparents, Manervia Zerilda Puckett and her husband James Cockerham. Susan's death record states that she died of "canser" (cancer) so she may have been in need of care. I believe that James and Manervia Cockerham ran a boarding house. My great grandfather Robert Pepper McCoun was one of their boarders when he noticed their daughter, Syrena, waiting tables at her parents' boarding house. They married and produced a large family, including my paternal grandmother Lucy Ethel McCoun (who married Herbert Hilary Horton). I remember my great grandmother Syrena McCoun. Although she never learned to read or write (perhaps because her parents put her to work at a young age), she was as sharp as can be!
