Rev. Larry Fleming Pullum, a resident of Rehobeth, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, in Midland City. He was 53. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. today, Sept. 9, at Piney Grove United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jerry Dooling, Gillis Crenshaw and Roy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. At other times the family will receive friends at 1815 Campbellton Highway.

Rev. Pullum was born May 29, 1952, in Birmingham, to the late Flem and Daisy Walden Pullum. He was a lifelong resident of Houston County and was a Methodist minister for over 25 years. He was a graduate from Emory University and Huntington College and a member of Rehobeth Young and Adult Farmers and Dothan-Houston County Education Retirees Association.
Rev. Pullum is preceded in death by his wife, June Carol Faulk Pullum; and a sister, Cathrine Pullum Bradley.
He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie Pullum White and Rev. Emmett L. White; his cousin, Genevieve W. Pullum of Midland City; nephews, Keith and Greg White and Bruce Bradley; nieces, Daisy Johnson, Kaye Norsworthy and Carolyn Hughes and numerous cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Rehobeth Young and Adult Farmers Association. Active pallbearers will be Jerry Hughes, Pat Bradley, Bob Bradley, Bruce Bradley, James Norsworthy and Dwayne Johnson.
