My wife`s paternal line is COOPER.I have been involved in following the many persons in her families as I follow the back trail back into VA.As I stumble along I find more of them on the side trails.
Currently I maintain data from 1733-1945 on the Georgia COOPER and their births, marriages, deaths, militia and military, church and cemetery, petit and grand jury, fraternal and political organizations, voting records, prison records, etc.I learn something new everyday and I am not bored with it all.
Anywho, I find myself following the COOPER over the years into other states or colonies.I learned to transcribe all of the data as I find just in case I will need it later. You never know when you will have to backtrack to something you saw on a previous search.
Transcribing seems to make a permanent image on my pumpkin head.I see queries with names that ring a bell and I look back into my data files that are stored in boxes marked according to specific areas that had the misfortune to follow the wrong COOPER but I did have the data as the result of the search.Rather than throwing it away I saved it just in case. And it has been very helpful in jump starting some folks research.
Many times I will have almost the same thing that everyone else has but sometimes I have specific data that surprises even them.
In the past there were many folks very helpful to me in getting on the right trails. It is just my turn to do the same if I have the data that can help.
As the result I encounter folks like you and we cuss and discuss these folks and manage to get on the right track. That is how you and I reached this point.
As you have found out there are not too many Theadocia out there much less Theodosia. In fact, Zenas and Zenos is not as plentiful as James, William, and John.
