Anita, She is a member of the Pusey family in this LondonGrove area.I have checked every Pusey entry on the internet and can't seem to locate her as a child of anyone, yet I know she was from this area. She used Pusey as a middle name. Just thought among your documents and research you may have come across her.She is my brick wall. Perhaps I will have to be content with her picture. Any help would be appreciated.
Now to George and Sarah Cox. I can find nothing definitive amoung my reference materials.
There is a John Cox and wife Margaret Potts that had a daughter Sarah born 12-15-1715 (too early). This Sarah had a brother Benjamin. He married Elizabeth ? and had a daughter Sarah, but there is nothing more written on her.
There is a Henry Hamilton Cox who moved to York Co. Pa then returned to Londongrove about 1813 (according to MM records). This Henry returned to Ireland with his family and he died in 1822.There is no Sarah Cox mentioned. Now, you could contact the Historical Society in West Chester, as I don't when I can get there. If youwould like the address and phone number I can provide that for you. Among my Pusey documents I do not see a George listed. There is a Susanna Cox,as you know Sarah was often short for Susanna. IT READS:Quote: Caleb Pusey's daughter Lydia, born 7-4-1689, married on the same day as her brother George Painter of Phila.Their wedding certificate has been given to the Pusey House by their descendant, the late artist, Maxfield Parrish.Their great-great-granddaughter Susannah Cox, married Dr. Joseph Parrish of Phila in 1808. Numerous descendants have contributed to the restoration. Unquote.. I see a John Pusey married to Katherine Maris.
