I mentioned this a couple of years ago, but back then I was separated from my records (in Thailand). Now I have found the bits of paper again. So here you are:
Source: John Hale Stutesman, in the periodical "Mennonite Family History,"January 1996, vol. xv.Article: "A Revolutionary War Company of Maryland Militia Which Included Members of the Dunker Community."
The Puterbaugh mentioned is Henry Puterbaugh, son of immigrant George Puterbaugh. Henry married a daughter of Stephen Ulrich, Sr.Other Dunker names are to be found in this article, or in the original roster, which belongs to the Maryland Historical Society (ms. 1146).I see Ulrich, Stutesman, Teeter, Lear, and Diehl.
It's interesting, in that the Dunkers were pacifists, and therefore one tends to assume that none of them were active as soldiers!
