Laverne, I, for one, want to thank you for this great idea involving DNA.Since I am not a scientist by definition, I can't possibly know of all the pros and cons when it comes to this fairly new idea of identification. However, after more than 35 years of searching for my Pyeatt roots, and a sizeable amount of money, I am delighted that my brother has decided to participate in this study.
As with everything, I am sure you will get a number of unhappy Pyeatt descendents(var. sp)who see more cons than pros. However, I Am willing to bet you will hear from ten times as many of us who can't wait to see the results--whatever they are! If it turns out that our line isn't what (who) we think it is, at least we can begin on a new search--and we won't need a counselor of any kind. Thanks for taking on this enormous project!! And happy hunting to everyone.Jacquilyn Pyeatt Fenn
