I am in possesion of a family Bible that belongs to the Pyeatt family. It belonged to my Nana before she passed on. We called her Nana but her name was originally Mae Pyeatt. I know she was born out of wedlock and was raised by her Grandmother, Mary Vina Pyeatt. The oldest record in the Bible is that of Andrew M. Pyeatt b. 11/12/1834 and married Mary Vina Birchett 10/09/1861 in Sandona Co., Texas.Mary was b. 03/16/1845.They crossed the plains to California in 1865.
As for births, I have as follows: 1)William Joseph Pyeatt b. June 3, 1867 2)James Benton Pyeatt b. December 13, 1869 3)Marguareta Olive Pyeatt b. August 9, 1872 4)Mary Elizabeth Pyeatt b. June 22, 1875 5)Nettie Clifton Pyeatt b. March 9, 1879 6)Minnie May Pyeatt b. July 1, 1880 7)Walter Maclure Pyeatt b. July 21, 1883 8)Fannie Laurietta Pyeatt b. January 21, 1887
And the we have Mae Payeatt b. December 10, 1903 (This was my Nana)I am guessing but I think Minnie May was my Nana's mother. As I said before, Mae was born out of wedlock and was raised by her grandmother Mary Pyeatt until she finished high school, after that she went ot live with her Aunt Olive Cooper (#3 above).Nana was my grandfather's second wife. She never had any children and so none of us are related to her by blood. This is why I am trying to get this Bible back into the hands of the right family.I will give this Bible to the first one that can prove direct decent from one of the Names above as long as they pay the postage.Sincerely,WandaLena11@aol.com
