Paul - the Kilworth, County Cork family tree papers that I have list a Walter Pyne b 1785 in Kilworth, Cork - died 8/12/1874 married to Johanna Nolan dau of Jeremiah and Ellen Raidy Nolan b 1793 in Kilworth Cork and died 7/19/1868 Hingham Mass.None of the children appear to have been born in England. They are David, John, Jeremiah, Margaret, Patrick (married Margaret Nolan dau of Patrick & Bridget Martin Nolan), Edward, Lena and Walter. If any of this matches, I could forward you about 20 pages on this family.
Paul your Ellen is about the same age as the Richard Pyne in my line. She could be his sister -- but I have no proof at this time. The family story is that Richard married first Ellen Keough and had ten children, when she died he went down the road and married Ellen Keough’s cousin, also named Ellen (or possibly Anna) and had fourteen more children. We can identify some children in each marriage, but the numbers may be off. There appears to be an Ellen in each of Richard's families. One born before 1860 and one in 1864.I believe the second Ellen was unmarried and died at age 77 in a fall at the family farm in Cooraclare. Some of the children did go to England. Are your reedie/ reedy/raidy from County Clare?I will try to get some records from the lDS and I will look for this link.Do you have any more information and/or the names of Ellen and Patrick’s children.
The Griffiths 1855 list which is posted on the County Clare Library site shows both a Richard and a Michael Pyne in the Cooraclare area.I believe that Richard’s father was also named Richard and his wife was Mary Gibson. Some of this family is buried in the Kilmacduane Cemetery in County Clare.
(have you looked at Griffiths for your Raidy's?)
