Have copy of letter dated, Douglas,Mar.14,1845,from Isabala
Quay to unnamed son.She mentions 2 other sons,John & James.
Her husband,unnamed,died 1835."Your uncle Richard & aunt Ann(Hannah?) are still alive." ..."When you write, direct mail
to Mr. Richard Quirk, Kirk Patrick, Isle of MAN."
Possess copy of letter from Thos Quirk to his cousinRichard Quay in Corrunna, Mich.USA, dated Liverpool, May 3, 1871.
"Your brother James requested I write to inform you his son,William, sailed from this port today for NY in the Black Ball Line packet ship "NEPTUNE" and will arrive about the end of the month.James and all his family are doing well". (If interested, will mail copies of these letters.)
I have copies of 1850,'60,'70,'80 Census for Richard, Hannah
and their 7 children. Have located records for all of them
and their spouses, except Myra (Mira). Eva died, age 13 and
Robert J. died age 20. My 1st cousin, Lois (Tobey) Meder,
lives 1 1/2 mi. from Cem. where Richard & Hannah are buried
and has just replaced their deteriorated grave stones. You
