Joseph QUEVEDO was living in the Illinois Country as early as 1723, to make a correction on that 1759 date. For source and more info on this, you can go to my Quebedeaux website: http://members.tripod.com/~quebquest/index.htmlhttp://members.tripod.com/~quebquest/index.html
Joseph was listed as deceased in one of his daughters' marriage contract in 1745. So we know then that he died early in 1745 or somewhat earlier. I still have more things to put up on the website, but since I am relying on my daughter to do it for me (I have enough projects going on without having to learn HTML, too) I will just have to wait until she has the time. I copied all the Quebedeaux entries I could find in the 1900 census, so I thought that would be good for others to have access to. And I have other things as well, when time permits, so check back.
And Mary, did you have all your questions answered yet about Adolie? If not, e-mail me, and I will see if I can help.
