Family was: Samuel Queripel and Rachel Vidamour( b nov12,1771 in Torteval, CI, died 1813 in Forest Channel Islands). Samuel Queripel and his children: Rachel; Caroline; Samuel Priaulx; Marthe; Henry b 1803 Forest, Guernsey; Marguerite; Job; Joseph. All the boys and some of the girls emigrated to America, after their mother Rachel's death in CI 1813. They settled into New Jersey, NYC area. Worked together in Painting, Coal business, etc. Listed in NYC Trade Journals as early as 1820. Henry Queripel b 1803 in Forest, Guernsey, married Ann Longdon b 1816 in England, died 1896 in NY. She was a widow when she died. They had a Sarah, a Henry J. Jr. born 1833 in NY, a William A. Queripel in NY. Henry J. Jr. married Adaline Veldran( Veldere? Last name spelling unsure). They had 5 children: Emma b 1854 in NJ, Sarah A. b 1860 in WI, Frances B. b. in NYC, Ida J. b. NYC, and Henry J. Jr. b. in NYC. My line is through Emma Queripel b 1854 in NJ, she married a Perry, had son William Perry 1877 in NYC, re-married Charles Wesley Hambrook( Hambrock )born 1855 in NJ. The actress, June Allyson( married to actor Dick Powell) was grandaughter of Frances Queripel Provost. Her daughter Clara Provost married Geisman, had "June" who's name was Ella Geisman and brother Arthur Geisman.
