This may be relevant to your search.I have a link in my family genealogy research to the marriage of Henry Mason and Julia Quinton in July 1856 in Liverpool, England. Amongst their children were Henry Quinton Mason and William Quinton Mason. There is no Ethel listed in the 1871 British census but there is an Emily and a Margaret. Both Henry and Julia were from very wealthy Quaker families. His estate was over 700,000 pounds many years later.I am descended from Henry's youngest brother Thomas who went to Australia. I have traced the Mason family back several previous generations through Quaker records and would be pleased to share such with you.I am interested if you can link Ethel to the Liverpool family origins. Please note Quinton is an unusual spelling and traces back to Birmingham/Stourbridge where the Masons had major industrial operations from the 1760s in and adjacent to the village of Quinton which supposedly is derived from a Roman settlement name.
