A further correction is warranted. Levi Rackliff, my gUncle was born in Lincolnville, ME. He was the Treasurer of California when died in 1898. He was one of 14 Children born to Samuel And Julia Calderwood Rackliff. I have much more information on the Rackliff line should anyone be interested.
