Well, I found this on Ancestry.com: REf: BYU Family Archives.
"One Colonial Pinson who stands out clearly in the genealogical picture was Aaron Pinson whose Will was probated in Lunenburg county Va. in 1758. This Aaron Pinson had been leaving his name on Virginia records for three decades. He had a land grant ,dated 1726 , in Spotsylvania Co. He sold his Spotsylvania holdings in small tracts, the last alienation of title being signed by him and his wife Elizabeth in 1730. William Byrd, while exploring the backwood of Virginia in 1730 found Aaron living on Tewahominy Creek, a stream now on the divinding line between Halifax and Mecklenburg counties. Byrd noted in his journal that Pinson was the settler farthest West in the area and he renamed the stream Aaron's Creek which it bears today. Aaron Pinson is traditionally the first settler of Halifax Co. His land lay in the three counties of Halifax, Lunenburg, and Mecklenburg, His Will written 26 Dec. 1767, when he was less than 60 years of age, was probated 7 March 1758, and names his sons, Thomas and Aaron, as executors. He also names his son John, daughter Elinor, it is recorded in Will Book 1 pages 223-225 Lunenburg Co.
Aaron died 1758 the name of his first wife is unknown at this time. Children by first wife: Aaron Jr. and a daughter. m. 2nd Elizabeth Rambo, Children: Thomas, John, Elinor, and Mary Ann. ( There was a correction made in list, where Joseph is inserted, but it is unclear as to which name Joseph was replacing. There is an arrow pointing from Joseph to Sarah, but Joseph in writtin in across the top of Dorcas and Dorcas is underlined. There is no line drawn through any name.)
