also at http://pulido2000.comhttp://pulido2000.comunder family trees he has a tree on the hinojosas and there are many ramirez in there too. only thing though he list the names with the mothers last name first and then the fathers so it is a bit confusing also. i don't know of any place where there would be cemetary records for the old ranchitos.in fact most have been under water since the falcon resavoir was built in the 1950's and the towns that were the old ranchitos were moved. but with the low water levels of the past few yearsi am sure some of the old ranchitos could be found. from an early 1900's map what i believe to be the oldest settlementin the area , FORT LOPENO built by jose cristiobal Xptobal ramirez our ancestor as the first individual civilian settler in 1732 would be about a mile near the dam on the texas side on the fist major creek down from the dam.howeveer a family friend who went there when she was a child(old lopeno) said there were only a few wooden houses there then.
