There has not been any yDNA evidence/documentation/claim show up for the McKee reported to have come out of Orange Co NC and moved to Maury and/or Williamson Co TN ca 1810.
(No McKee that I know about anyway. That is not to say there are no private, unpublished DNA results out there for these McKee.)Ditto the early Anson County NC that became Iredell and Rowan County NC vicinity.
Don't know about the Jamison, Rankin, and other Maury / Williamson Co TN families as far as DNA goes but I do know there is no McKee has come forth.I would love to compare any McKee results, if they exist, with my proven by documentation and yDNA results Mecklenburg Co NC McKee lineage.
It sure seems strange that not one shred of DNA has come forth for the McKee of these lines.Perhaps this branch has daughtered out.
Some of the descendants on the female side need to think about doing some Family Finder DNA tests.FTDNA has a sale on until midnight tonight. If you seriously want to find these folks on all the lines and after all these years of looking to document, your Family Finder may be your best hope. The answers may not all be there yet but as the database grows the truth will come out.
Female descendants of these McKee lineages should take the Family Finder test at FTDNA.23andme also has Relative Finder and my McKee husband has results from both companies.I know of 2 other McKee having tested at 23andme and none of the 3 McKee match each other that I have heard about. One of these McKee did not have descendants direct to America but to Tasmania, Australia, South Africa, Canada. The other I have no info on and I believe those results are private and may be from your line but the only way to compare would be to take the test.
When you've spent so much time and money on conventional genealogy, Family Finder turns out to be a great deal.
