You and I have corresponded before. Your line of the Rasco's descend from Lodawich Rasco and Mary Ann (unknown)as follows:
1st generation: LODAWICK or LODOWICH Rasco born about 1808 in Marlsboro County S.C. believed to have died after 1870 but prior to 1880 in Texas. He was first located in the 1830 census of Pike County Georgia. It is uncertain when or where he married Mary Ann but their oldest known child was born about 1830. By the time of the 1850 census Lodawich Rasco's family was residing in Coweta County Georgia. It is believed that Lodowich mother's name was Mary and he had at least one brother named James. Although Lodawich's father has not been proven, it is believed that his father died before 1828. His name may have been Alexander, James, or John Rasco. When the 1860 census was taken, Lodawich and his family were located in Brazos County Texas. By 1870 he was living in Madison County Texas.
2nd generation: EGBERT DANIEL "Mage" RASCO was born February 27 1836 in Georgia. It is not known for certain where he died but he may have been in San Jacinto County Texas in 1900. E.D. Rasco was married to E. A. Taylor May 21 1861 in Grimes County Texas. She soon died. E.D. Rasco served in Company D, 8th Texas Vol. Infantry, CSA, during the War Between the States. On August 13, 1865 he married his second wife, Mary Neeley in Grimes County Texas. She was born Dec. 22, 1848 in Pike County Illinois and died October 5, 1888. They had seven known children.
3rd Generation: Rubin L. Rasco born May 13 1880 (tombstone reads 1882) and died January 14 1963. He married Annie Lambright born October 6 1883 and died July 5 1964. They were married about 1900.
4th Generation: ELBERT DANIEL RASCO born about 1903. Died December 8, 1990. He married married Ruby L. Cox. She was born about 1903 and died in 1952.
5th Generation: BINOS ODELL RASCO born October 7, 1937 in Crosby County Texas and died August 23, 2003 at Lubbock Texas. He married Marcha Owen August 15, 1955 and they had five known children.
