Isobel Louden William and Isobel had a daughter Catherine Rattray b. 1843(I don't know about her siblings), and married Peter Nicholson b. 1841.
Catherine Rattray and Peter Nicholson had 7 children: Thomas Nicholson b. jan. 20, 1884 Peter Nicholson b. Nov. 12, 1877 Euphemia Raeburn Nicholson b. Nov. 20, 1872, d. Nov. 21, 1873 of whooping cough. Euphemia Nicholson b. Dec. 14, 1874 (named after the sister that died) Isobel Louden Nicholson b. Apr. 18, 1871 William Rattray Nicolson b. Feb. 18, 1869, d. July 11, 1887 James Rattray Nicholson b. April 18, 1867
James Rattray Nicholson married Isobel Forrester Masterton b. Jan. 24, 1867.They immigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1927 with their sons Peter, James and John Nicholson.Their daughter Euphemia Raeburn Nicholson (again named after her aunt who passed away in infancy) arrived a year later in 1928 with her only son, my grandfather, James Black Tait, b. July 1, 1925.
I'm hoping all this info might help some, and if I'm lucky perhaps someone can fill some blanks. I have no siblings for Catherine Rattray and am wondering if anyone knows the parents to James Rattray b. 1781. (Or can correct errors). Thank you, Thank you! Melissa
