John Rauen married Mary Kiefer, date and place unknown. They arrived in the U.S. about 1847 and settled in the city of Racine, Wisc. According to the 1910 census Maria Keifer Rauen was the mother of 8 children, 4 of whom were still living at that date. There may have been children born and died in Rheinland before John and Maria immigrated.
