I do not have much info, but I am looking to find family related to my grandfather William Alexander Rauscher born in Eastern PA in 1914. He had a brother who died named George that he lived next door to in Philadelphia, William still lives at the same house. He is married to Kathrine Null also born in Eastern PA in 1914.His mother's name was Serafina (not sure of spelling) Long who was a school teacher in PA born about 1895 give or take about 10 years or so.His father, from what I believe, was the son of 1 of 5 brothers from Germany, but not all came to U.S.Or his father was 1 of the 5 brothers, I'm not sure.I think his name was John George Rauscher. There was a Christian Rauscher in the bunch, a Joahan, a Fredrick, but that's all I can recall.Someone died in a brewery accident. If any of this makes sense to anyone, please let me know.We recently found a paper from at least 100-200 years ago with a family crest. The crest is hand painted on, and the entire page is hand writen.the date on it is 1400, we're assuming it is not the date of the paper, but rather the date the crest became the family's.It is writen in German, but we can tell the family name is Tamm.We have no clue who they are, but this paper must have been important to someone in the Rauscher family since we found it at my grandfather's house. I am the daughter of Linda Rauscher who now has the name Soltysiak. She is 1 of 3 daughters from William and Kathrine. Please, if you have any information, anything at all, it would be a huge help.
