Thank you for your kind words and gentle reprove.
In 1850 Wilkes Co., GA Mary appears living with Ephraim and Amanda Bailey. She has an extimated birth year of 1762 VA.
Sanders Walker married Sarah Lamar Sinquefield after 1781. One Francis Sinquefield's daughters, Jane, named one of her daughters with the middle name of Lamar. Sanders appears in numerous land transactions with Sarah in GA begining in 1784.Soo-- Mary could be the daughter of Sanders Walker and a first wife, name unknown, or after her mother's marriage to Sanders she adopted his name. However, we are still stuck with that pesky citation of Sanders being the 'nearest kin' of Moses Sinquefield.Could the Sarah and Mary listed in Francis Sinquefield's will be the wife and daughter of Moses? Perhaps deed transcations of Sanders selling his land in SC, granted to him beginning in 1767 through 1771 would list the name of a first wife.
Only a careful examination of several documents MAY help to sort this out.I LOVE genealogy!.Nothing but mysteries.
Beverly
