Looking for more information about William Rayle, b. 1710 Chester Co, PA. Does anyone know about his parents or from where they came? Many of us Rayle researchers believe they are part of the Cornwall, England Rayle family.

Elizabeth abt 1735 Chester Co, PA Several of William and Elizabeth's children were Quakers (Society of Friends) so it's also possible that W & E were, also. William Rayle and Hannah Watson Mickle are my ggggg-greatgrandparents. Two of their sons, William Rayl and John W. Rayle, came from Pennsylvania to southern Indiana; John as early as 1796 and William, my gggg-grandfather, about 1800 or 1802.
It's taken a lot of research to show that the surname "Rayl" is English, and probably, Cornish. I was also surprised to learn of the Quaker links in the early American Rayle families. The Mickles were also Quaker; Hannah's father emigrated from Co. Antrim, Ireland.Hannah's sister, Jane Mickle, married William Rayle's brother, Thomas Rayl.
The Christen names for Rayle children are often the same from generation to generation in the first 150 years of living in America. John, William, Thomas, George, Samuel and Noble appear often. The first known "Noble" Rayle, b. abt 1750 to William (b. 1710 PA) and Elizabeth, moved to Beaver Co, PA (western part of the state) and had much family there for the better part of 200 years. There even was a "Rayltown" in the county in the 1800s! Other siblings moved to North Carolina, Ohio and Indiana by the early 1800s.
Any help with the above families would be appreciated. I have much on William Rayl of Switzerland Co, IN, b. abt 1775 PA, and son of William and Hannah (Mickle) Rayle and their lines. His line settled in Indiana.
