I am not sure of the connection, maybe some of the information below I have collected since my last message can throw some more light on this ?
Henry John Rayment married Rose Arkley on 05/08/1888 at St Silas Church, Clerkenwell, London (Rose was from Clerkenwell/ Holborn)- they emigrated to Australia sometime between 1891 and 1901 (I haven't been able to find the ships records have you any idea how I can do this?) and where living in the Sydney area - I think Henry died in Kogarah in the 1940s.
Henry was born in Malta in 1868 - the details of his family from the UK 1881 census are as follows:

Newington, Camberwell and Peckham are close to each other and now all part of the London borough of Southwark.
