Does anyone know anything about a Raynor Family Burial Ground located on the 50 acre farm belonging to Vanderwater Raynor, father of Hewlett Raynor?
In the 1870s,the farmbelonged to Hewlett Raynor andwas located on Nassau Road in Roosevelt (previously known as Greenwich Point). An 1890s news article mentioned the burial ground had several generations of Raynors. After the wife of HewlettRaynor died, the Mollineaux family owned the property.
Most, if not all, of the people living in Roosevelt/Greenwich Pointin the mid to late 1800s appear to be linked with several different branches of Edward Raynor1 lines (John3/John4, Samuel3, Joseph3, Benjamin3 and Ezekiel3/Benjamin Raynor4).
This burial ground no longer exists and I have been unable to find what happened to the bodies of the people who were buried there.
