My apologies for not reponding sooner, and I will not bore you with excuses.Piercy and John Bright Draughon were my 2nd great grandparents through the Draughon line. So, hello, Cuz!
Here is what I have re: children's spouses:
John Robert D. married Lucy Jane Bell 6 Jan 1853 In Warsaw, Sampson. She is buried in Piney Green, Sampson.
John Robert D. also married Nancy Jane Weaver about 1852, probably in Sampson.
William Franklin D. Married Bertha C. K. Rice on 14 Apr 1864 in New Orleans, LA.He migrated to LA about 1850.
Sara Eliza D. married James Madison Manuel about 1853, probably in Sampson. She migrated to Sugar Ridge Twp, Clay, MO before 1860 and then moved to Richland, MO by 1880.
Gary Bright D. married Martha Adeline Bell in 1857 in Duplin.
Their homeplace is on Royal Road in Sampson.
We have Piercy and Green Wood as having had 7 children, but we have little more than some names. The oldest wzs a son, Clinton, who married Sally abt 1835, probably in Johnston, NC.
I hope this helps.
If you have info about the Raynor (Rainer) Family, please share it with me.I would be especially interested in a pedigree chart.
