Thought you might be interested in the following:
"On Sunday evening December 14, 1862, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on of the most important social occasions of the Civil War took place at the home of the former U.S. Congressman Charles Ready (Mattie is the grandaughter of Charlees Ready, founder of Readyville). His daughter Mattie married the renowned Confederate General John Hunt Morgan. The ready home was decorated with holly and winter berries and ablaze with lamps and candle lights. Outside in the streets thousands of soldiers assembled by lighted bonfires, celebrating the wedding of General Morgan and his bride."
Trusting that your email is still the same, will send a photo of the wedding with more details of same.
I hope this helps....~Larry~
