Looking for descendants of Martha (King) (Redd) and Wm. W. Redd. She was born Henry County, Ala. late 1830's and married Wm. W. Redd sometime before 1860. At that time her family lived near Dido, Choctaw County, Ms. He was from Alabama, I believe, around Prattville.Somewhat confusing since there were 2 William W. Bradshaws in Confederate service from Ala. Her husband was killed, leaving her with 3 children; John Wesley Redd (Dec. 8, 1858-Jan. 8, 1938), Mary e. Redd (b. abt. 1860), and Anna Redd (born abt. 1862). Sometime around the end of the war she remarried, probably in Choctaw County, Ms., John David Bradshaw & had at least 5 children with him; Lula (married a Cotton),Sarah(married a Humpheries), Lizzy (married a Smith), Henry, and Nancy( married Samuel J. Keeton). She filed for a Confed. widow's pension after 1900 on John D. Bradshaw, while living with the Keetons. I am researching Martha King's line primarily, but would like to exchange information on anyone interested in this line.
