alright Leta, I have left your blasphemous messages go unchallenged long enough.your actions astound me given the fact that we have corresponded for many years and you are someone i considered a friend.in fact, you are one of the individuals i gave special credit to in preparation of this work as you and i shared our research together over many years.i also went out of my way to make sure to include your family photos and your own personal photo in the book too.
in the preface of my book i acknowledged right up front that there are errors in this book.there is no way a book of this magnitude (767 pages and 8,500 members) does not have a few errors.Daniel Huntley Redfearn's original work (which i tout heavily in my book) is an outstanding accopmplishment, but it does have errors as well.i have gone to extreme lengths to minimize and correct errors every step of the way (and i have made corrections and edits on your individual line as you have requested).the book is based on contributions by over 450 members of the Redfearn family, census and other information - naturally there are errors in this information as well and i have reconciled them as best i could.
when the book first came out last year you contacted me immediately about two or three specific errors in your line.i took it upon myself correct these in your own copy by personally drive 50 miles and at my own expense have a new special book made for you (whereby they "tipped" in 2 new pages) so that your copy was as error-free with regards to your line as possible so that your copy was error-free.did i receive so much as a thanks for that - no i didn't.and that was the last i heard of it until you started posting these messages.to say i refused you a refund is just plain untrue and i would have been happy to give you a refund had you shown even a little appreciation for the effort i made for you.
over 200 copies of this book have been sold now to Redfearns on three continents and almost everyone save yourself has had nothing but positive things to say about the book.
i understand that you are upset and you are certainly entitled to your opinion as everyone is, but your criticisms are off-base here and i am offended that you are misrepresenting all that i have tried to do for the good of our family over these years.my intentions are nothing but well-intended and the testamonials on my website (www.redfearnfamily.com) illustrate that.
i would encourage anyone who has purchased a copy of this book to post here and offer their opinion of it.
