Some of my data in my Katzenbach and Rockenhausen files had been provided to me by another Reeb genealogist. However, the majority of my data from those towns which is in my files is definately from my own research. My point is that I do find your Georg Peter Reeb in my files but I note that I did not enter my source, probably because I had not got it checked out to be certain all the information is correct and from my own research will require me to print out a descendancy chart for the Katzenbach and Rockhausen Reeb family and then print the endnotes. Since I cannot take chances of putting my data on line it is not in the same computer I use for the internet. All that having been expalined I will tell you this much and possibly share more with you in some other manner.
According to what I do have Georg Peter Reeb was baptized 8 June 1806 in the Catholic faith at Katzenbach to Hubertus and Anna Maria (Pfeiffer) Reeb. He married 24 Oct. 1835 in Katzenbach to Carolina Weisemer. I have only two children for them. If there were others, I am not certain. They were Carolina born 15 January 1847 in Katzenbach and Valentine born 12 Dec. 1855 in Katzenbach. It seems to me that there could possibly have been other children but those are the only two in my computer data. I do think I still may havesome photocopies of Katzenbach and Rockenhausen Reeb data but that will have to be searched for in my collection of documents and notes etc.stored in cardboard containers.
As for the lineage of Georg Peter Reeb below is what I find, again I will have to study the details before I can tell youthe sources etc.
Hubertus Reeb was baptized 5 June 1774 in Mittweiler. He married 6 Sep 1795 to Anna Maria Pfeiffer in Rockenhausen. Hubertus was son of Christian Reeb and Catharina Weber.
Christian Reeb was born circa about 1726 in Mittweiler. His occupation was farmer and weaver. He married Catharina Weber and they had 6 children for whom I do have the dates which are baptismal not births, I believe.
I do not show the lineage of Christian Reeb and since it has been a few years since I did any research on this Reeb family I would have to review the files and what is stored in cardboard boxes.
