Evan and his wife Jane moved to New Castle county, DE about 1723.He was not a member of the Pencader church be was an Independent.
On February 1, 1724 Evan Rees deeded him 124 acres of land, part of the estate of John Lewis, deeded to Evans Rees November 21, 1720.On May 11, 1774 Thomas and Susannah John deeded him a parcel of land, part of a tract deeded to Thomas John by William Davis and David Evans.According to family records John the eldest son, left home when about 16 years of age because of pleasant environment; David and Benjamin received financial assistance when they removed to SC in 1739; Evan Jr. our grandfather married against the wishes of his father and caused an estrangement they never reconciled.Evan dated his will August 21, 1748 and died before the end of the year as this will was probated by his widow and son Thomas in 1748. (Wills, Lib. G1. fol. 207) His son John Morgan b. 1725 deeded land with his mother February 21, 1764, to Nathaniel and Joshua David.Executor to his mother's will Sept. 1774.
