Elaine Gibbs Reinhardt, 73, of Manchester, passed away on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Elaine was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and resided in Lakewood and Whiting before settling in Manchester four years ago. Elaine was Vice President of Operations for Garden State Bank in Jackson before her retirement. Prior to that, she worked for Carol & Jerry's florist in Jackson. Elaine was a communicant of St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Lakewood.
She was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Mary Gibbs; and her husband, Bernard C. Reinhardt, in 2004. She is survived by her sons, Mark D. Reinhardt and his wife, Natolia of Piscataway, NJ and Kurt M. Reinhardt and his wife, Lyam of Grand Blanc, Mich.; her daughters, Rene Abin and her husband, Carlos of Freehold, NJ, Dana Rohena and her husband, Ramon of Lakewood NJ, and Mary R. Gibson and her husband, Timothy Regan of Manchester, NJ; her nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at the funeral home. Her funeral liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lake R.C. Church, Rt. 9 & Rt. 88, Lakewood. A private cremation will follow.
