Ruby Louise Reinhardt, nee Waller, 100, Warrenton, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at The Warrenton Manor.
Mrs. Reinhardt was born to Clyde Waller and wife Amanda Louise, nee Hagemeier, Sept. 3, 1911, in Vermont, Mo.
She and her husband Walter were married June 19, 1937, in Wright City.
Mrs. Reinhardt worked as a saleswoman for Lohman's Variety Store, Warrenton, for many years. She was instrumental in starting the Warrenton Senior Center and the Warrenton Villas, where she resided for many years. She also worked tirelessly at the Emmaus Home, Marthasville.
She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Warrenton, where she was the first female council president and also a 50-plus-year member of the Dorcas Women's Fellowship. She was a member of the Friends of Emmaus.
Mrs. Reinhardt is survived by two loving daughters, Shirley Sida and husband Ray, Wright City, and Jane Dothage and husband Glenn, Freeburg; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Melba Waller, Wentzville; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter in July of 1947; two brothers, Hillard Waller and Gwyn Waller; and one sister-in-law, Jewell Waller.
Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton, Monday, April 9, from 4-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, at 10 a.m. at Friedens United Church of Christ, Warrenton.
Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Berger.
