Houdee Dutch Dude! I'm also a Revis with Dutch ancestors, and I see that you made some bold statements. Heard some about your branch of the family. But I can assure you that the Dutch Revis family, at least the ones I'm related to, are in fact decendants of the 16th century William of Orange (and I do not mean William the III, but W the silent, who was gunned down at the Prinsen hof in Delft). Just like Sara form Canada, you must also base your claims on Uncle Hank's geneological book (which I happened to find and buyat eBay). However, this guy obviously was shoveling crap the day he wrote this here geneology (nice pictures though). I do not want to go into the sordid details of my lineage. Nevertheless, I can assure you, that the Dutch Revis family has antother side to it... My great grandparents, Jean and Constance, left Holland under great pressure. After some bad years of trading in the West Indies, they settled in New Oleans. If you, or your new generation of Dutch Revises, want to know more about this branch of the Dutch Revis history, feel free to contact me. God Bless. Real Revis, Austin Texas.
