Dear Al,
I was at my office when I saw your posting, so I was working off a 44 year old memory, which is faulty at best. When I got home I check my notes. They are off a bit, so I wanted to reiterate the connection.George Ridinger was the son of Andrew Ridinger, from Ruscome Township, PA.George is buried in Poff, at the Zion Lutheran Cemetary, 1 mile west of the Floyd County Courthouse.George had 2 sons: Amos & Henry Ridinger.Apparently Henry went to Christianburg, VA and his farm is now a restaurant, since 1963.Henry S. was married to Jane and had 4 kids by 1960 census: July Ann, James P., Malinda E. and John William.
Amos was married to Margaret and must have had a mother by the name of Catherine living with them.Their children, by the 1860 census were: George H., Mary J., Joseph L., Luamy C., Janus, Elizabeth, and Henry Jahile.By my family records it shows James Ellis, my great grandfather, Sarah Ann Goodson Ridinger, apparently the twin sister of Henry Jahile, and a Charles, who died very young.
When you compare this to your list, it is very close.
What do you think?
