All my genealogy books and information are packed away and Iwill not have access to them until sometime in the fall.I suggest you contact the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Co. Historical Society in Dayton Virginia.They have great information (family files included) and sell many publications.Sylvester is not a particularly common name, so I wouldn't think you would have much of a problem locating him.You could also contact the Henley Library in Winchester, county seat of Frederick Co., VA.Good Luck!
