Thought I would post this here instead of emailing you, just in case someone else could benefit. Not sure if you remember discussing the young Rigsby connection with me before, but you did send me the 1860 census with youngs and Rigsby's on it.
At that time I didn't realize what I should do with it, but as usually happens, I will be struck with a clue in the middle of the night as to some new way I should search for these illusive ancestors.
SOOO, I did a search on the census for Rigsby's in TN, then I did one for Youngs. Then I narrowed it down by county's. Then I search from those results, mainly Cannon and Dekalb counties.
WOW, they sure did mingle together. I realize now that the connection is much more signifigant than I thought. So thanks for the lead. I cannot say I have figured it out completely yet, BUT thanks to you the spark created a fire and now I'm getting warmer..... (ha, I made myself laugh there, sorry, I'm so easy to amuse.)
I'll post my findings when I have completed the research and put together a spreadsheet.
