I don't believe that this
Thomas Rigsbee left Wake/Durham County. I have him still alive in
1900, Durham County, Oakgrove TWP and Matilda still living. It shows
that they have 12 children with just 5 still living. I don't have it in his
file, but somewhere I have seen his referred to as Thomas, Jr. I belive he
is too old to be the son of Thomas and Milly Glenn Rigsbee. You are
probably correct with Warren as his fahter. I have at least two Rigsbee
lines. One is John Rigsbee md. Betsy Glenn; their son, Joseph md. Nancy
Mayton; their son, John William Dawson Rigsbee md. Isabelle Rigsbee;
their daughter Mary Elizabeth was my grandmother, she md. Elisha
Wilson Glenn; their daughter Norma Mozelle Glenn was my mother.
The other Rigsbee line is the above Nancy Mayton, daughter of Roland
Young Mayton and Margaret(Mervis) Rigsbee. I was born and raised in
Durham County. Wright and Elizabeth Allen Stanley were also in my
lines. I have a double line where Louisa Stanley, their daughter md.
George Washington Crabtree. Two of his daughters, Mary France
Crabtree md. Paupious Paul Pry Glenn and another the above Isabelle
who md. Rigsbee. Grandma and Grandpa were first cousins. I would
like to correspond with you. It seems as if we are in the same stomping
ground. I have been stuck with the Glenns for over ten years. I have
three lines of Glenns. Sandy.

I have been research the Stanley line. From all indications, Thomas
Rigsby was the son of Warren Rigsby. Matilda Marie was the daughter
of Wright and Elizabeth Dew Stanley.
