'Messing about' on my computer I came across a message from 'Bridget' requesting information about Thomas and Martha Rimmer who lived in the White Cottage, Massams Lane, Freshfield Formb with their 10 children. She mentioned their son Timothy who had sailed to New York in 1919 on the 'Aquetania' and who she thought may have settled in America. No he didn't, he was my grandfather and was a member of the crew. He was married to my grandmother, Catherine, they lived in Liverpooland they had two children, Albert (my father) who was born in 1918 and Martha Veronica (known as Vera). My father died in 1998 but Vera is still alive at the age of 90 and is living in Huddersfield. I would love to hear from Bridget or anyone else as it would great to hear from other memebrs of the family who I may have heard of but never had the opportunity to meet. Valerie.
