Marylin, I wish I could find more of these, too! I've been researching my RW ancestor for almost 10 years now, and along with that, trying to find out more about the other men in Captain Creager's company of 1776.My own ancestor's service record was so brief that I wanted to fill in the gaps from the other soldiers as well as from the history books. So far, of the 82 men in the company, I've found only 4 pension statements filed at NARA, including my own ancestor. It seems that the majority of these men may have been killed at some point in the war, else did not file pensions. Even the officers who lived beyond the war's end seem to have no service records. My own ancestor apparently received a bounty land warrant and never bothered to collect it. For Jacob Ringer, I've found only a few scattered records (non-military) and some e-mails from others asking for information. Otherwise, all I've got is some data on what probably happened to the Flying Camp during 1776, if you want.(Likewise, if you ever find his pension statement, please let me know).
