Robert, son of George Davenport and Emily L J Edwards, married to Ora Grooms was my great Uncle. His sister, Mary Beaulah Thompson m Carol Peacock Clardy and they were my grandparents. This line of Thompsons came to Texas from GA>SC>VA.
