Where to start - 1. Start with your family - ask your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles who their parents and grandparents were. Make a list of all of the names, where they lived, and as many dates as possible -age, date of birth, when they died, etc. 2. Go to the Lunenburg gen web page - you will probably find there lists of births and deaths and marriages. 3. Enter an enquiry on the page with a list of the names as far back as you have been able to go. Someone has researched the Robars of Lunenburg County - I just don't know who it is. If you are lucky you may receive a lot of information very easily, and learn a lot about genealogy in the process. 4. Just think - if you can talk to your grandparents they can tell you who their grandparents were and that alone will take you back a hundred years.Chances are good they can go back beyond their grandparents.
