Research by Randolph Robinette indicates that Allen was the son of RICHARD ROBINETTE, who was buried 2 April 1639 at St. Savior’s, Southwork, a parish on the southside of the Thames River in what is now the Greater London area.
I believe his research is convincing and well-documented. As reported by Randolph, the records of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury gives a record of the administration of Richard’s estate in 1639. The estate record lists Richard’s three minor children, Allen, Elizabeth, and Joan.It also lists Richard as a widower. The record notesthat John Benne and Joan his spouse, creditors of Richard, receuved the right to administer Allen’s estate. (The court records were in Latin and the name is give as Alani Robinett).
