Rebecca Jill Roderick of St. Charles Services for Rebecca Jill Roderick, 61, formerly of Calumet City and Lansing, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St. (corner of Route 64 and Route 25), St. Charles. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Born Oct. 31, 1945, in Indianapolis, to Ernest and Virginia Brandon, she died Thursday, June 14, 2007, at her home. For over 13 years, she was employed by the St. Charles Public Library and volunteered at the St. Charles Public Schools. She delivered meals for the Salvation Army Golden Diners. She was a member of Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, where she served as an usher for several years. She was a member of the Lansing First United Methodist Church and the Lansing Junior Women's Club. Mrs. Roderick is survived by her husband of 37 years, Thomas; children, Kristianne (Jerome) Kopchinski of Burlington, Wis. and Thomas Jr. (Nicole); grandchildren, Jarek and Jeromy Kopchinski and Olivia Roderick; brothers, Ernest Jr. (Mary) Brandon of Milan, Mich. and David (Theresa) Brandon of Sandy, Utah; and several nieces and nephews.
