Dear Georges,it is strange to talk to someone who bears my grandfather's name!
Yes, there was a famous Patriot named Étienne Rodier, deputy of L'Assomption region.
But Rodiers I know were two unrelated Royer
families who became Rodiers in St-Hyacinthe region.There isn't any "genuine" Rodiers by there.
I don't understand what you mean?Your ancestors prisonner of British in 1813?When
Americans invaded Canada?
