My great-grandmother, Hannah Rodney, was supposedly the grandaughter (or great-granddaughter?) of Caesar Augustus Rodney, the nephew of the signer of the Declaration of Independence. However, I have not found the link. She was born in about 1850 in southern Delaware, married Charles Philip Tunnell in Georgetown, DE, in about 1880, and had two children:Herbert Rodney Tunnell (obviously my grandfather) b. 1881 and Charles Rodney Tunnell b. 1895.She had many medical problems and died early; a note from Charles says he was raised by his aunts on the Rodney side, one of whom lived in Morristown, NJ.Alas both bothers died years ago, taking their stories with them.I would appreciate any information on Hannah and her sisters.Thumbing through this forum, I am sure someone has this.
