Carl Roehl / Röhl - Wisconsin - 1894
I am looking for any information on the Roehl/Röhl family that emmigrated to the Green Lake and Fond Du Lac area in the late 1800's.
Carl Roehl (b. Aug 1856) emmigrated to the US in 1894 from Pumptow, Pommern Province, Germany, which is now part of western Poland. Carl was joined by his wife Bertha (Hilke) Roehl and 5 children - Wilhelmina D, Carl, Herman, Ida L B, and Hellmuth.
His immigration records indicate that he came through Hamburg, Germany and Flushing, Netherlands to Boston.
His father was apparently deceased as the immigration records show that he is joining his father Friedr. Unger (b. Mar 1848) in Ripon Wisc.
Carl Roehl's mother's name was Dorothea-Sophia (b. Oct 1839), and they (Friedr. Unger and Dorothea-Sophia) immigrated in May 1893, coming from Hamburg, Germany to Boston.
I would appreciate any information I can get.
